Privacy policy
Last updated: 20 September 2026
This notice explains how personal data is processed when you visit this portfolio or send a message.
Controller and contact
The data controller is Joaquim Filipe Guedes Limeira, Portugal. Privacy requests can be sent to mrjfglimeira.2003@gmail.com.
Data processed
When you contact me, I process your name, email address, optional telephone number, message and submission time. On each page request, limited technical data may be processed, including IP address, browser or device information, language, timezone, screen size, referrer, requested page and request time.
Purposes and legal bases
Contact data is used to answer enquiries and take steps requested before a possible contract. Limited access records are used to operate, secure and diagnose the website and understand aggregate demand, based on legitimate interests in maintaining a reliable portfolio. These records are not used for advertising, behavioural profiling or automated decisions.
Service providers and transfers
Hosting, network and notification service providers may process limited data on my behalf where necessary to deliver and protect the website. Providers are selected with regard to security and data-protection commitments. If data is processed outside the European Economic Area, an applicable legal transfer mechanism must be used.
Retention
Contact correspondence is kept only for as long as needed to answer and follow up the enquiry, or longer where required for legal claims or obligations. Technical access records are retained for a short operational period and then deleted or anonymised. Retention is reviewed periodically.
Your rights
Subject to the GDPR, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also complain to the Portuguese supervisory authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados. Requests are answered after reasonable identity verification.
Security and changes
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect personal data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. This notice may be updated when the website or legal requirements change; the date above identifies the current version.
